Imagine a child going to bed hungry. Or a grandparent having to choose between buying food or the medicine they need. Imagine a family only being able to eat one meal per day. These scenarios aren’t imaginary. They are real and they happen all the time for working poor families, seniors and children in Sacramento.
Each month, Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS) provides an emergency supply of groceries to more than 45,000 men, women and children. Even after leveraging dollars and buying in bulk, it still costs the organization a considerable amount each year to provide the nutritious food families need to lead a healthier life.
For just $10, you can feed a family. Join us in raising funds to provide food and other services to those in need in our community!
